This diploma focuses on the development of knowledge and implementation of halal practices in various industries in Malaysia, particularly in production and management operations. It is a discipline requiring graduates to develop and create new halal products, including food and non-food items.

Students will demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and the ability to deliver excellent halal products and ensure that halal practices are applied throughout the halal industry segments in Malaysia. Students will also be well-prepared to take on future roles as halal executives or halal entrepreneurs by building a strong foundation in halal industry knowledge and essential skills across various halal industry sectors.

Entry Requirements

Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least 3 credits in any subject and a PASS in Mathematics; OR
Other qualifications are recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.
